How Does It Work?

SWOTT enables a new structured approach to group CPD and consists of two learning activities: an online module and a group critical reflective supervision. All toolkits are evidence-informed. They offer flexible and accessible CPD requiring short bursts of activity. Completion of a SWOTT toolkit enables transformative learning by:

  • increasing critical reflective practice through team discussion between peers
  • the application of new reflective tools
  • creating the opportunity for peer learning and facilitating the sharing of expertise
  • better team communication and team building (“getting to know one another better”)
  • enabling new knowledge and insights informed by up-to-date theory and research

Toolkits come in three parts:

  • online individual learning
  • complex case study for team discussion
  • guidance for facilitators

Check out our Membership Page for more information about getting access to SWOTT.
